The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (蜜桃传媒) has been granted the status of Accreditation, by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) for the maximum term of ten years鈥攖he highest level of accreditation awarded. This prestigious 10-year designation affirms 蜜桃传媒鈥檚 strong commitment to its mission, academic excellence, and institutional integrity. Following a comprehensive site visit, COCA determined that all accreditation elements were met, with no further action required.

The reaccreditation extends through the 2034鈥35 academic year and reflects the continued commitment of 蜜桃传媒鈥檚 four campuses to the College鈥檚 mission to prepare globally minded, community-focused osteopathic physicians who will serve rural and medically underserved populations.

The maximum 10-year accreditation is a milestone for 蜜桃传媒, and a reflection of the outstanding work done by our administration, faculty, and staff across all of our campuses. Reaccreditation is not just about compliance鈥攊t鈥檚 about demonstrating that we are fulfilling our mission. This achievement reaffirms our commitment to academic excellence, student success, and improving healthcare in the communities we serve.

蜜桃传媒 provides excellent classroom and clinical training that leads to exceptional outcomes in both residency match rates and board scores. 蜜桃传媒 students consistently achieve initial residency match rates higher than national averages for both DOs and MDs, while final match rates remain between 99鈥100% annually. The Class of 2025, for example, celebrated an initial match rate of 97% (compared to 93.5% and 92.6% for all U.S. MD and DO seniors respectively) and a final match rate of 99.6%. In addition to outstanding match results, 蜜桃传媒 students have historically scored above the national average on COMLEX鈥攖he national licensing exam for osteopathic physicians鈥攁 testament to the College鈥檚 rigorous academic preparation and support for success of its students.

鈥淔rom groundbreaking research to rural outreach, and from outstanding board scores to remarkable match results, our outcomes reflect a College deeply committed to advancing the health of all communities -especially those too often overlooked. This commitment, paired with our continuous pursuit of academic and clinical excellence, is further affirmed by our exceptional accreditation results, which recognize the high standards we uphold in education, service, and innovation鈥 said Deborah West, EdD, provost of 蜜桃传媒.

With more than 6,300 alumni projected to provide nearly 1 billion patient care visits over their lifetimes, 蜜桃传媒-trained physicians are transforming healthcare access across the nation. This reaccreditation ensures that 蜜桃传媒 will continue producing physicians who lead with both skill and compassion for years to come.
